Certainly, it was a blast spending whole day with my family at the amusement and water park! We didn’t really plan anything for our anniversary since we already spent our family vacation at Florida visiting friends and Disney World. That was really awesome but since hubby got his day off on the day we turned 7yrs being married, why not go somewhere and do something fun?! Well, it was mostly for our kids coz we spent half the day at all Nickelodeon rides and at their ages, it was just perfect for them. Unfortunately, hubby and I couldn’t go to any adult rides {who can watch the kids?} BUT at the Boomerang Bay, we all can enjoy the place!

Kids Outdoor

I just like to share a couple pics of my kids during our outing with friends last week. It was a hot summer day and friends invited us for fishing so, I thought it would be nice time for the kids to play at the park even if we won’t end up fishing. Indeed they had a great time and I did too! Kids love the outdoor and no matter where it is as long as they can explore, they definitely would get dirty which is part of it!

I was kinda hoping that hubby would find a contractor to remodel our farm house but seems like we can’t be able to afford one right now. It’s been our dream to build our own house but then again, he liked the idea of having history and wants to treasure that old house standing still in the farm. Quite a tiring morning for me but I needed to start taking care of business since my income is going down hill,LoL! Why so tired? It’s not what you think, you silly! Our family just had a very long day yesterday from King’s Island! We spent all day giving the kids some Nickelodeon rides and meeting some characters too, walking around the park and taking pictures, having a blast at the water park too! I’ve seen an interview before of a guy who has been addicted to drugs and alcohol and one thing he said that is stuck on my mind right now is that no matter how many drug rehabs he goes to, he still keeps coming back to that old same life which is being addicted once again to drugs and alcohol. Now, there’s a new kind of Residential Drug Treatmen t that most of the graduates have chosen to live a drug-free life and became productive members of our society! But of course, it is necessary to have experienced and trained counselor who deals with the patients and aside from that, having a certain kind of approach that will work on the patient as well. That picture can be quite a shock to anyone just like what I felt when I first saw this guy at TLC’s “My Shocking Story.” It’s just amazing how someone can live like that and I bet it’s not an easy life not being able to use his hands. I feel so sorry for him being treated like a freak when you know he is just human just like anybody else. Just so unfortunate to have that disease. What worries this guy most is not his condition, it’s about his kids and he was hoping they won’t get it too! Fortunately, the doctor found out it’s something that he won’t pass on to his kids. He got some deficiency in his immune system that doesn’t fight back against this Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) - a fairly common infection that usually causes small warts to develop on sufferers. Thank God for someone like Dr. Gaspari who is dedicated to help this man. He is working on treating him and hoping to reduce the size of the warts so he could live a normal life.
