The Real Estate Market

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

I think most of you know how’s the real estate market doing right now…It’s not really a good time to sell since everyday, all the house prices are dropping! With our situation right now, we are really stuck! Couldn’t sell it yet since our farm house isn’t ready. Yeah - literally not ready! The kitchen is all torn apart, bathroom is totally messed up and don’t get me going coz that just reminds me how horrible it is there right now. That only means we have to settle a lower price for this house (which I hope not!). Maybe there’ll be a miracle or something drastic change would occur and the real estate will go up as soon as this house is in the market! On the other hand, it’s the right time to buy but you’re not really winning on anything. If you are buying a house, that only means you need to sell your old house too! Oh well, gotta do both like what we should do! I really don’t have a tip how to sell your house in a better price but the only thing I can share to you is a good ‘ol website that can help you search for a real estate in Virginia where you can take advantage of its tools and information that they bring into their website at drodio.com! They got the great advice and tips too - expert advice. So, go right ahead and see for yourself! I might as well do the same thing!

Question of the Week

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

1. List your 2 fave site or blog/s and link us up! Tell us why! A Pot of Honey and Me and Mine - they are both really good quality blogs that shows their great talent in photography and digiscrapping!

2. List two bad habits that you have. Now tell me which one you would be willing to give up first. Talking too long on the fon and munching all the time {junk food} - I’d be willing to give up the 1st one!

3. What spice or seasoning is your favorite? Which one can you add to anything and make it taste better? Salt. Somehow it makes everything tasty!

4. What is your birthstone? Do you like it? Or you want to change it? Emerald - I don’t really like it. Wish I could change it to something else.

5. Do you know what’s your name means? What? I don’t know

6. What color polish do you most often wear? Or do you wear one? I like neutral colors and dark ones for toes.

7. Think about this for a second - When you fasten your pants do you button first of zip first?zip

8. Which do you prefer, someone snoring right next to you on a plane or a baby crying right next to you on a plane too? snoring

9. Which would you prefer, made to eat bugs or drink sour milk? Why? I think bugs. depending on the bug. Sour milk could ruin my tummy!

10. Which is worse, your roommate eating all the food or wearing your clothes? both if there’s no permission

I Love It!

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

I just bought a clock last week that I saw at Great Indoors. Hubby thought it’s freakin’ BIG but he liked it as well! It’s not as nice like one of those grandfather clocks that I’m hoping someday we can have in our house. Yes, I do like clocks! I hate not knowing what time it is. That’s why I got one in front of our television, in bed, in the living room, kitchen and almost anywhere…well, except for bathrooms, hehehe! Maybe I should put one too! That’s how I like clocks, really!hahahah! BUT it’s really my dream to purchase one BIG and fancy grandfather clock! It is a great conversational piece and focal point, at the same time, it’s useful! I found amazing and beautiful clocks at 1-800-4clocks.com and they sure have a lot of selection! If you can’t find one that you like, there must be something wrong with you…hehehe! Honestly, they have every styles, shapes and color so, you definitely have a variety of choices and could find the right one that fits your style or your home! You might find one you like but wondering how it could get to your place if you are far away from their location. Well, there’s always a way to ship it! Read an article about shipping factory fresh grandfather clock!

Rellenong Bangus!

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

rellenong_bangus.JPGBangus or Milkfish is my favorite kind of fish! Growing up near the ocean, we don’t miss a fish in our table everyday and quite honestly, it makes me sick and tired of fish! BUT once I moved in with hubby here, I couldn’t believe how much I miss it! A LOT! Yeah - you could purchase one at the store but aside from being expensive, it’s not fresh - at all! Well, I settle for the frozen ones at Filipino or Asian store and that marinated one just hit my taste buds! Even the whole milkfish deep fried, the tummy part, oh so yummy! Last weekend my friend served a rellenong bangus but it was one of those frozen ones, I still like it! So, I bought one too and having it for lunch today!
